Artist Statement
I am an NYC-based editorial photographer and stylist who collaborates with young aspiring models and internet personalities, specifically with maximalist taste, focusing on fusing punk and couture fashion with an individual's style. I work with people whose appearance spans from hardcore goth-punk to high fashion. I explore the world through an esoteric view, with a focus on highlighting a mix of my own grunge style with popular media, such as high fashion brands. I reference designers like Vivienne Westwood, Rick Owens, and Jean-Paul Gaultier in collaboration with music artists such as Doja Cat and Billie Eilish. I strive to create editorial work that pushes people to reject conventionality and to dress in ways that truly express the inner workings of their individual minds. I push this through my work by creative directing every shoot, doing almost everything from wardrobe, hairstyling, and makeup myself, making it as individualistic as possible. I also fully manage and curate personal pages, creating social media content centered around myself and my taste in a way that is marketable to young audiences. My goal is to shoot for brands and magazines that I reference not only in my photography and styling work but also in my intense wardrobe—with similar influences to my work. I aspire that one day, my work will be on the front cover.
